The Nebulo Hungarian School was founded in August 2013 and has been operating since then in Perth, Western-Australia. The school is managed by HECC (Hungarian Educational and Cultural Centre) which is a non-profit organization. The School Coordinator is Agnes Farkas, the President of HECC is Kata Nemeth.
Our goal is to impart the Hungarian culture to our children through a friendly community group where parents, teachers and students are all actively shaping the image and quality of Nebulo School. Our programs and teachings are designed to deliver an open and cosmopolitan view of the Hungarian and Australian culture, with lots of joy and passion. We would like our students to gain life-long friendships and experiences at Nebulo School. We teach Hungarian language and culture in both a classroom setting and through arts, crafts, sport and folk-dance programs, cooking and excursions.
Currently, we have 25 students, and we are teaching in 5 groups: kindergarten (ages 3-6), beginners (new group for mixed ages), primary 1 (ages 7-8), primary 2 (ages 9-12), advanced (ages 13-16). Our teachers are all qualified teachers who graduated in Hungary.
We are very proud of our students, and it’s an honour to welcome a new family into our community.
